Thanks to Bucks LEP funding, URA Thrusters, a pioneering rocket technology firm based at Westcott Enterprise Zone, successfully tested a rocket using water as a propellant, opening exciting green technology possibilities for space exploration. Another Westcott based company European Astrotech, providing engineering, technical and advisory support to the space propulsion industry, has trained over 300 individuals at its Centre of Excellence for Rocket Engine Flow Test. Both initiatives are examples of how Bucks LEP investments continue to deliver transformative growth, with over £1m Getting Building Fund’s going to these two pioneering organisations.
