We are delighted by the UK Space Agencies announcement of a further £2m investment into the In-Orbit Servicing and Manufacturing facility at Westcott, building on original Bucks LEP investment into this resource. The facilities are part of a growing ecosystem of testing facilities connected to the Enterprise Zone at Westcott which also includes the National Space Propulsion Test Facility, Drone Test and Development Centre and Future Technologies Centre, which will be further enhanced by new hub facilities including conferencing, social and workshop facilities opening in 2025. Bucks LEP has helped start and grow the huge potential of the space sector at Westcott Enterprise Zone and believe that future collaborations across sectors will continue to build a secure platform for UK innovation and growth.
